1° day MILAN

Arrival in Milan and meet with English speaking assistant. Milan is the second largest city in Italy and the capital of the Lombardy Region. Transfer to your hotel. Check-in. Dinner at leisure and overnight.
 

2° day MILAN - LAKE MAGGIORE

Hotel breakfast. Start the guided city tour of this amazing city which combines creativity, style and elegance. Milan is also financial center of Northern Italy. See the Duomo, the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery (called Milan’s lounge), the Scala opera House and the amazing Castello Sforzesco castle, once home of the Sforza family who ruled Milan for almost a century and The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci, in Chiesa Santa Maria delle Grazie. Lunch at your leisure.In the afternoon free time for shopping. In the late afternoon, transfer to Lake Maggiore. Arrival in the area of Stresa. Hotel check-in. Dinner at leisure and overnight.

3° day LAKE MAGGIORE

Hotel breakfast and drive to Lake Maggiore. Depart from the Stresa Pier to the Borromean Islands, a group of three small islands and two islets. The islands are a major local
tourist attraction for their picturesque setting. Visit Isola Bella island with the Borromeo Palace and its beautiful botanical garden. Then Isola dei Pescatori with its lovely landscape. Lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, continue navigation to the Isola Madre renowned for the refined botanical collections. Afternoon return to Stresa. Dinner at leisure and overnight.

4° day LAKE MAGGIORE - LAKE COMO

Hotel breakfast and leave for Lake Como, the third largest lake in Italy, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore. Lake Como has been a popular retreat for aristocrats and wealthy people since Roman times, and a very popular tourist attraction with many artistic and cultural gems. It has numerous villas and palaces (such as Villa Olmo, Villa Serbelloni, and Villa Carlotta). Many famous people have or have had homes on the shores of Lake Como, which is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe. Meet the guide for the tour of Villa Carlotta, a neoclassical museum with a beautiful garden. Cross the lake by boat and arrive in world known Bellagio, called “the pearl of the lake”. Guided tour of Bellagio and then free time for lunch. Afternoon check-in at the hotel in Tremezzo. Dinner at leisure and overnight.

5° day LAKE COMO - BERGAMO - LAKE GARDA

Hotel breakfast. Drive to the city of Bergamo, located on the site of the ancient town of Bergomum, founded as a settlement of the Celtics. In 49 BC it became a Roman municipality, counting over 10,000 inhabitants at its peak. The town has two centres: “Città alta” (upper city), a hilltop medieval town, surrounded by 17th-century cyclopic defensive walls, and the”Città bassa” (lower city). The two parts of the town are connected by cable car, roads, and footpaths. Lunch at your leisure and then transfer to lake Garda. Hotel check-in and time for a relaxing walk by the lake shore. Dinner at your leisure and overnight.

6° day LAKE GARDA - VERONA - LAKE GARDA

Hotel breakfast and depart towards Verona, best known as the home of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. You can visit the Juliet’s balcony, tomb and museum as well as Castelvecchio, Gavi Arch, Borsari Gate, Pietra Bridge and the Roman Arena di Verona, where the concerts and plays are still held regularly. Time at disposal
for exploring the city on your own or to do some shopping. Lunch at your leisure. Afternoon drive back to Lake Garda. Hotel check-in. Dinner and overnight.

7° day LAKE GARDA

Hotel breakfast and meet the guide to start your full day excursion around the lake. Start by driving to Sirmione, located on the south of the lake, very popular destination, home to the Virgilio & Catullo Spa Complexes, as well as numerous restaurants, bars, hotels, fashion stores and a market. The picturesque Scaliger Castle dates from the 13th century. The Roman poet Catullus had a villa here, and visitors can see an ancient Roman Spa named “Grotte di Catullo”. Cross by boat to the other side and visit Salò, Gardone, Toscolano Maderno. Limone, Torri, Riva Del Garda. free time for lunch. Afternoon return to Desenzano along the spectacular and panoramic Gardesana Road. Dinner at your leisure and overnight.

8° day LAKE GARDA - FLORENCE

Hotel breakfast and leave for Florence, the wonderful heart of the Renaissance, and the capital city of the Italian Region of Tuscany. Centre of medieval European trade and finance and one of the wealthiest cities of the time, Florence is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance, and has been called “the Athens of the Middle Ages. A turbulent political history includes periods of ruling by the powerful Medici family, and numerous religious and republican revolutions. From 1865 to 1871 the city was also the capital of the recently established Kingdom of Italy. The historic centre attracts millions of tourists each year, and Florence is ranked as one of the most visited cities in the world. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982, the city is home to numerous museums and art galleries, such as the Uffizi Gallery and the Pitti Palace and still exerts an influence in the fields of art, culture and politics. Florence is also an important city for Italian fashion, being ranked within the top fifty fashion capitals of the world. On arrival, 3-hour guided tour of the city and get the chance, among others, to see the “David” sculpture by Michelangelo Lunch and dinner at your leisure. Overnight in hotel.

9° day FLORENCE - SIENA - FLORENCE

Hotel breakfast in hotel and leave for Siena, driving through the beautiful region of the Chianti wine. The tradition of cultivating vines in Chianti goes back a long time in history, back to the Etruscans that inhabited the area before the Roman empire. In 1984, Chianti obtained the denomination D.O.C.G. (Denominazione d’Origine Controllata e Garantita, or Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin), which is the highest type of recognition for quality Italian wines. Arrive in Siena, one of the most beautiful medioeval towns in Italy. Its historic centre has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. It is one of the nation’s most visited tourist attractions, and its famous for its cuisine, art, museums, medieval cityscape and the Palio, a horse race in traditional costumes. Meet the guide for the city tour: the City Hall, Piazza del Campo, the Cathedral. Lunch on your own. Return to hotel in the evening. Dinner at leisure and overnight.

10° day FLORENCE - ROME

Hotel breakfast and transfer to Rome and then to the airport in time for your flight. End of services.
