1° day MILAN

Arrival in Milan and meet with English speaking assistant. Milan is the second largest city in Italy and the capital of the Lombardy Region. A stylish and amazing city combines creativity and elegance and it is the financial center of Northern Italy.

Hotel breakfast and head to Lake Maggiore and Stresa. Born in the 15th century as a fishing community and owned by the Visconti family, for centuries Stresa has been a popular retreat for Europe’s aristocrats, who have endowed the place with a number of villas. From the Stresa Pier go by boat to the Borromean Islands, a group of three small islands and two islets. Since the lake climate is mild all year round, the area is filled with Mediterranean vegetation and exotic plants.  Visit Isola Bella with the Borromeo Palace and its beautiful botanical garden. Time at disposal for the lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, continue navigation to Isola Madre renowned for the refined botanical collections. Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.


Hotel breakfast and leave for Milan. Panoramic tour of this amazing city: see the Duomo, the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery called Milan’s lounge, the Scala Opera House and the amazing Castello Sforzesco once home of the Sforza family. Lunch at your leisure and afternoon transfer to Lake Garda, the biggest lake in Italy. On arrival, panoramic tour of Sirmione, with its Scaliger Castle from the 13 th Century. The Roman poet Catullus had a villa here, and you will see the ancient Roman Spa called “Grotte di Catullo”. Hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.


Hotel breakfast and half-day excursion round the Lake Garda, with its truly Mediterranean atmosphere and surrounded by villages and small towns right on the shore. Lunch and afternoon at your leisure to enjoy the scenery and relax. Late afternoon transfer to Verona, hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.


Hotel breakfast and half day guided tour of Verona, widely considered Romeo and Juliet’s town. You will see the city’s main attractions including Castelvecchio, Gavi Arch, Borsari Gate, Pietra Bridge and the Roman Theatre, before reaching Piazza dei Signori, Piazza delle Erbe and Juliet’s house (with famous balcony) and the museum. Lunch at your leisure. In the early afternoon, leave for Treviso, driving through what is known as the Prosecco Valley where special sparkling white wine is produced. Stop in a winery to get the chance to learn about Prosecco the process of wine making and do some tastings. Drive on to Treviso, hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.


Hotel breakfast. Transfer by train to Venice Santa Lucia. In Santa Lucia, board special ferryboat that will sail along the Grand Canal all the way to St. Mark’s Square. Meet the guide and start the guided tour of this city, considered the most beautiful one in the world. Sited on a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and joint by bridges, Venice is renowned for the beauty and the uniqueness of its settings, its spectacular architecture and its artworks. The city is in its entirety listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, along with its lagoon.  Lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon time at disposal to continue the visit on an individual basis: walk up and down the romantic alleys and bridges of this marvelous city. Hotel breakfast and leave for the Tuscany Region and Montecatini. Stopover in Ravenna and take the guided tour. Once the capital of Rome's Western Empire, Ravenna's early importance as a center of Byzantine art and culture still shines through today. Although an inland city, Ravenna is connected to the Adriatic Sea by the Candiano Canal. It is the location of eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, mostly basilicas, enrichened by the world famous mosaics the city is known for. Lunch at your leisure.
Continue your travel towards Tuscany and Montecatini, an idyllic Spa town. Hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.

Centre of medieval European trade and finance and one of the wealthiest cities of the time, Florence is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance, and has been called “the Cradle of the Renaissance”. A turbulent political history includes periods of rule by the powerful Medici family, and numerous religious and republican revolutions. From 1865 to 1871, the city was also the capital of the recently established Kingdom of Italy. The historic center attracts millions of tourists each year, and Florence is ranked as one of the most visited cities in the world. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982, the city contains numerous museums and art galleries, such as the Uffizi Gallery and Pitti Palace and still exerts an influence in the fields of art, culture and politics. Florence is also an important city in Italian fashion, being ranked within the top fifty fashion capitals of the world. Hotel breakfast. Full day trip to the Cinque Terre in the Liguria Region. Cinque Terre is a rugged rocky coastline made up of “The Five Lands” located on the Italian Riviera. It is full of bays, small beaches, steep cliffs and deep waters. The villages are only connected by paths, boats, or trains - nope, no cars. You’ll enjoy the views of these postcards villages and a boat ride or train ride along the coast. Lunch at your leisure. Return to Montecatini. Dinner at your leisure and overnight.


Hotel breakfast. Depart towards Pisa and stop to visit the monumental Cathedral and the much-photographed Leaning Tower. Drive on through Lower Tuscany with en route stop for the lunch at your leisure. Enter the Umbria Region in the afternoon and arrive to its capital: Perugia. Panoramic tour of the old center of this beautiful University town, home to the University of Perugia was founded in 1308! The history of Perugia goes back to the Etruscan period, as it was one of the main Etruscan cities.

Hotel breakfast. Start the day with a stop in nearby Corciano. According to an ancient legend, Corciano owes it name and its origins to Coragino, mythical friend of Ulysses. In the afternoon drive on to Caserta to visit the Royal Palace, a former royal residence constructed for the Bourbon kings of Naples. Lunch at leisure. In the afternoon, drive along the scenic Costiera Amalfitana, a coastal stretch with an explosion of Mediterranean colors and scents, with stops in Amalfi and Sorrento. Hotel check-in in Amalfi, dinner and overnight.


Hotel breakfast. Transfer to the pier where you will embark on the ferry to Capri, one of the most spectacular islands on the Mediterranean Sea, right in front of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Enchanting and picturesque, Capri is an island made of limestone rock. A favorite with Roman emperors, the rich and famous, artists, and writers, it’s still one of the Mediterranean’s must-see places. The island’s top attraction is the famous Blue Grotto, Grotta Azzurra. Lemon trees, flowers, and birds are abundant and altogether provide that special Capri atmosphere. The town lies in a small canyon carved out by the Gravina. Known as "la Città Sotterranea" (the Subterranean City), Matera is well known for its historical center called “Sassi”, considered  World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1993, along with the Park of the Rupestrian Churches.On October 17, 2014, Matera was declared Italian host of European Capital of Culture for 2019. Lunch at your leisure, and then continue your trip towards Alberobello. On arrival, guided tour of this blindingly white typical Puglia town famous for its unique prehistoric “ trulli” buildings. The Trulli of Alberobello have been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996. Hotel check-in and overnight.


Hotel breakfast. Morning excursion to Lecce and guided tour. Because of the rich Baroque architectural monuments found in the city, Lecce is commonly nicknamed "The Florence of the South". The city also has a long traditional affinity with Greek culture going back to its foundation; the Messapii who founded the city are said to have been Cretans in Greek records. Lunch at your leisure and then continue your transfer with a stop in Gallipoli, a beautiful town founded by the Greeks entirely made in limestone, and Otranto, fishing town famous for its breed of horses, located on the east coast of the Salento Peninsula.
