1° day MILAN - PARMA

Arrive in Milan and meet your English-speaking assistant. Leave for Parma, famous not only for its historical treasures but also for being the native town of Verdi and Toscanini, and home of “Teatro Regio”. On arrival, short panoramic tour of Parma: the Dome, the Baptistery, and the Chiesa della Steccata, the National Gallery. Hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.

2° day PARMA

Hotel breakfast and then head to Antica Corte Pallavicina, a wine and ham-producing farm well known for its “prosciutto” like the Culatello, Strolghino, Coppa, Pancetta, Salami, Parma Ham and many more. The specialized guide will walk you through some of the food excellences of our time, with great passion and technical know-how, before your lunch at the property. In the afternoon you will get the chance to visit a Parmesan maker and find out more about what’s called “the King of Cheese”. You will get the chance to see all the production phases and you will be offered the possibility to buy Parmigiano Reggiano directly from the cheese maker. Return to hotel, dinner at your leisure and overnight.



Hotel breakfast and transfer to Modena, home of the Balsamic Vinegar, a locally produced vinegar boasting unique characteristics and preciousness. Dating back to the Middle Ages, the production of balsamic vinegar is mentioned in a document  dated 1046. Today the traditional balsamic vinegar is highly valued by chefs and gourmet food lovers from all over the world. The tour of the “Acetaia” (Vinegar producing company) includes tastings followed by panoramic tour of Modena historic center. Late afternoon transfer to Bologna and hotel check-in. Bologna is the largest city (and the capital) of Emilia Romagna Region in Northern Italy and its seventh most populous city. Dinner and overnight.


Hotel breakfast and then start the walking guided tour of Bologna. The city, the first settlements of which date back to at least 1000 BC, has always been an important urban center, first under the Etruscans and the Celts, then under the Romans, then again in the Middle Ages, as a free municipality (for one century it was the fifth largest European city based on population). Home to the oldest University in the world, founded in 1088, Bologna hosts thousands of students who enrich the social and cultural life of the city. Famous for its towers and lengthy porticoes, it has a well-preserved historical center (one of the largest in Italy) thanks to a careful restoration and conservation policy. During the walking tour, we will stop by and visit some of the most traditional culinary shops in town, which take pride in a very long tradition going back many generations, selling cheese, charcuterie, sweets and cakes. Lunch in typical restaurant specialized on local cuisine. In the afternoon, drive back to Milan. Hotel check-in, dinner and overnight.

5° day MILAN

Hotel breakfast. Start the guided city tour of this amazing city, which combines creativity, elegance and style. It is also financial center of Northern Italy. Visit Duomo di Milano, the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery (called Milan’s lounge), the Scala Opera House and the amazing castle, Castello Sforzesco, once home of the Sforza family and *“The Last Supper “ by Leonardo da Vinci, in the church Santa Maria delle Grazie. Lunch at your leisure and take your time to explore Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga, where all the great stylists’ boutiques are located. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

6° day MILAN

Hotel breakfast. Transfer to the airport in time to catch your fl ight back. End of services.
