Arrival at Venice airport and welcome by our English speaking assistant. Private transfer to the hotel in Verona area. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

2° day VENICE

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Venice by train/boat. Meet the guide and start the guided tour of this city, considered one of the most beautiful in the whole world. Sited on a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges, it is located in the marshy Venetian Lagoon which stretches along the shoreline, between the Po and the Piave Rivers. Venice is renowned for the beauty of its setting, its spectacular architecture and its artworks. The city in its entirety is listed as a World Heritage Site, along with its lagoon. You will get the chance to see: St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doges Palace and the Bridge of Sighs that connects the Palace to the prisons. Lunch on your own and relax time to walk up and down the romantic canals crossed by narrow bridges Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight. 


Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Tuscany, one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. En route stop in Padua to visit St. Anthony’s Cathedral. Lunch on your own and then continue to Florence. On arrival, start your panoramic tour and see the Duomo and the Battistero, then visit the Museum of San Marco. The museum occupies a vast area of the Dominican convent of San Marco and preserves much of its original atmosphere. Evening transfer to the hotel in Montecatini area, dinner and overnight . 


Breakfast at the hotel. Head towards Assisi, in the Umbria Region, the birthplace of St. Francis, founder of the Franciscan Religious Order in 1208. Guided tour of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels, which houses the Porziuncola, considered the spot from where the Franciscan movement started. Possibility to celebrate the Holy Mass*. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, panoramic tour of Perugia, the capital city of the region of Umbria. Dinner and overnight in hotel. 


Breakfast at the hotel. Start the day with a panoramic tour of Gubbio, the setting for the popular story of St. Francis and the Wolf of Gubbio. Then leave for the Apuglia Region , with en-route stop for lunch on your own. Visit of the Sanctuary of the Holy House of Loreto, considered the original walls of the Shrine existed in Nazareth, Galilea, where Our Lady Mary was born, grew up and received the angelic announcement. Continue towards San Giovanni Rotondo, hotel check in, dinner and overnight. 


Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit San Giovanni Rotondo, which was the home of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina from 28 July 1916 until his death on 23 September 1968. The Padre Pio Pilgrimage Church was built in devotion to the saint. The city is also renowned for its hospital and medical-research centre Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza (Home for the Relief of the Suffering) founded by the Saint. The nearby Sanctuary of Saint Michael the Archangel is also the site of Catholic pilgrimages and was visited by Pope John Paul II in 1987 and by Pope Francis just in 2018. Free time for lunch and then leave for Rome. On arrival, hotel check in, dinner and overnight. 

7° day ROME

Hotel breakfast and meet with English speaking gui de for a full day tour of Rome, the capital of Italy and also of the Lazio Region. You will see the Fori Imperiali, the Colosseum, Constantine’s Arch, and all the other most astonishing sights of Ancient Rome. Lunch on your own. Time for a stroll in Piazza di Spagna, with world-famous Trinità dei Monti steps, take a picture by the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and, finally reach the Pantheon. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight. 

8° day ROME

Hotel breakfast. Morning visit of the Vatican Mu seums, originated as a group of sculptures collected by Pope Julius II (1503-1513) and placed in what today is the “Cortile Ottagono” within the museum complex. Continue your sightseeing with the visit of the Sistine Chapel, with amazing frescoed ceilings by Michelangelo. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon you will visit the 3 most important cathedrals in Rome: San Giovanni in Laterano, Santa Maria Maggiore and San Paolo fuori le Mura. Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight. 

9° day ROME (SUNDAY)

Hotel breakfast and possibility to attend the Holy Mass in Piazza San Pietro held by the Holy Father Pope Francis I. Lunch on your own, in the afternoon, visit St. Peter’s Basilica. Designed principally by Bramante, Michelangelo, Maderno and Bernini, St. Peter’s is the most renowned work of Renaissance architecture and remains one of the two largest churches in the whole world. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

10° day ROME

Hotel breakfast and transfer to the airport in time for your return flight. End of services.
